Biography of Mark Saccomanno

Mark Saccomanno attended Baylor University where he acquired a BBA in Finance and Insurance. Currently he is an active Life and Health Insurance Producer and General Agent, as well as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ABX.
While at Baylor, Saccomanno played baseball from 1999-2003, and was selected in the 23rd round of the 2003 amateur draft by the Houston Astros, where he played 7 seasons. In 2008 he made his major league debut with Houston becoming only the 22nd player to hit a home run on their first pitch in the majors, and the first player in the history of Major League Baseball to do so as a pinch hitter.
